Leaving RapidSOS

This career change was a hard decision, in the end. I am so proud of what RapidSOS has been able to accomplish and working with some of the smartest co-workers. The public safety industry is something I have dedicated my career to for over 27 years, proud to say that during my tenure here probably had one of the biggest impacts, thanks to the team at RapidSOS, it was fun and quite a wild ride!

Sometimes, in my career I have had to reflect on my passion, happiness and challenging myself to always continue to grow, with such a capable public safety team in place, now was the best time for a change. I knew I wanted to stretch myself professionally and start a new job search. I am blessed during my job search at all the innovation in public safety, great companies, ideas, investors, businesses new and old. Public Safety truly is a cool industry where hard work can, really save lives! I am excited about what the future has in store, how I can stretch myself to be a better leader, entreprenuer, business executive, and change agent to improve public safety.

I wanted to thank the team at RapidSOS for “putting up with me” during my tenure, I learned a ton from one of the best teams in public safety; from operations, development, marketing, product management, and building and leading a high performing team of leaders. Michael Martin and Nicholas Horelik our founders had the entrepreneurial spirit to get the company off the ground against all odds. I, along with our industry have been shaped by their vision and will continue to be.

I am looking forward to a bright public safety future and trying to have a small impact on improving technology in emergency response.
